Buff Silkies
We have just a few buff. In 2007 I did not have a good buff rooster and finding one is not easy. We starting hatching early in the season and things got busy as a rapid pace. A buff cockerel was no longer a priority. Two of the buff hens belong to Takota and just one is mine. We still do not have a buff male to go with them but we have other plans. I know buffs are hard but we have a decent start in them and this year I probaly will have some buff birds for sale. The three buff hens we own all came from George's place. Our first trip to his place I am not sure how many chicks I had and than later that year he sold most of his buffs. I bought two back from the buyer and we have one of them now. The other died shortly after arrival. We still have the best of the bunch and I think they will stay around.
